I'm truly glad you've stopped by to learn a bit about my journey.
Living with unidentified neurodiversity can be a hidden journey, layered with unique challenges and discoveries. For many, including myself, it sometimes clouds the day-to-day experiences, making ordinary tasks like focusing at work or enjoying social outings somewhat elusive. But when one stumbles upon that defining moment of diagnosis, it opens up a vista of self-awareness, bringing in a wave of relief and newfound understanding.
This is a landmark chapter in my life story. A while back, I came to understand my neurodiversity after experiencing a severe mental breakdown at work and ultimately receiving a diagnosis of ADHD combined type, or as I like to articulate it, my "neurodiversity was illuminated". It was as if the tribulations I faced in various spheres of life, from school to the workplace to personal interactions, suddenly found a coherent narrative. This revelation was not just an eye-opener, but it ignited in me an unquenchable desire to foster change, both personally and in the lives of others.
I have always sensed a deep-seated compassion and empathy within me, an innate tendency to nurture and guide others. Despite finding avenues of fulfilment in my IT career, it seemed to box in the full expression of my nurturing disposition, a facet that yearned for deeper connections and meaningful contributions.
Thus, with a newly acknowledged understanding of my neurodiversity, I decided to steer my life onto a path more congruent with my intrinsic nature. Bidding goodbye to my longstanding IT role, I am now on a quest to become a beacon in the realm of neurodiversity coaching and advocacy. My vision is clear: to stand as an advocate for neurodiversity, fostering a nurturing space where individuals and organisations can comprehend, embrace, and cultivate unique neurological attributes as strengths rather than impediments.
I am grounded in the belief that neurodiversity is not a stumbling block but rather a distinct and enriching perspective on life, adorned with a unique set of abilities and potentials. I aim to be a guiding light, helping others to navigate this journey, and encouraging them to utilise their neurodiversity as a potent tool for personal growth. My dream is to sculpt a world where every individual, irrespective of their neurological blueprint, can flourish and carve their niche.
As I stand at this significant crossroads, I am filled with a vibrant blend of eagerness and joy to embark on this nurturing journey. A journey of facilitating a haven where others with neurodiverse traits can find understanding, embrace their uniqueness, and foster a sense of belonging.
Together, we can redefine perceptions, turning what is often misunderstood as a disability into a reservoir of untapped superpowers.

Thanks for joining me on this transformative journey!
